Did you know that God is open 24/7, 7 days a week, all year long, year after year? Isn’t that amazing!!! He never closes. You don’t need your phone, WiFi, or even a pen and paper to talk to him. Before you even say His name, He hears your heart calling. ❤️
I love to wake up and say “Good morning God” before my feet hit the floor. Even when I wake at 3:00 a.m. Okay, well maybe I don’t exactly get excited about the 3:00 am calls, but we do still have fun. I usually say “Seriously God?” And sometimes He says “Yes, Jen!” and laughs. Sometimes He says “Nope. This one is all you. What’s on your mind?” Then we talk. And sometimes, I say “Good morning Lord. I am tired.” and He says “Yeah you are. Rest. Just rest.” And, I rollover and go back to sleep.
Some days I have to make a concerted effort and some days it just comes naturally, but one thing is certain I know where my day comes from when I jump into the day with Him.
So, for the next 10 days I would like to challenge you to jump into the day with God! Post a sticky note on your bathroom mirror with these words: “Good morning God!” Then consider adding a big stretch and a smile and let His love surround you.
