When I was a little girl there was always something refreshing and almost exciting about being out in the rain. I loved dancing in rain puddles and catching rain in a cup. My cup of joy runneth over.
Rain does not fall everyday. We can go weeks or even months without a single drop. The good news is that it does not need to rain in order for us to experience joy. Joy is not a feeling, but an intricate part of our being. It is a grace, a gift from God to provide each of us with a way for our heart and soul to dance despite the puddles or the drought.
Look with a lens of love: The more our heart rests with our internal framework the greater joy becomes in us and the more available we are to help nourish, water, and grow joy in others. Give God the space to nurture and cultivate your inner framework – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
