2021 Prayer Journey to Heal PTSD – Day 11
Walking with Trust.
Learning about the symptoms of PTSD is important. Learning that you and your family are effected by PTSD is even more important. Typically, it helps to explain a lot of things, but walking with that diagnosis can be incredibly hard in the beginning and the grieving process for each member in your household can look different. Know that it is okay to grieve. It is okay to long for, wish for, to want a life that looks different than the one you have. Give space to one another to grieve even in moments when you don’t feel like it.
So, today Lord we walk with trust knowing that we are exactly where we are meant to be in our grieving and healing process. We walk with trust knowing that we are doing the work You have called us to do by seeking help, asking questions, and listening to your direction. Thank you Lord for providing us with the space and time in our lives to grieve, to heal, and get stronger. Have a beautiful day God! We love you!
For a moment stay here with our Lord:
What is it that you are grieving today?
What is it that you wish you could change or make different about what you are grieving?
Ask God to show you what he wants for your life.
When you walk in alignment with our Father there is a peace that comes that can never be explained. So, today take a walk outside (if you’re in south Texas you may need mosquito spray) and give space to Christ to walk beside you, maybe even carry you. Take a deep breath in and just enjoy His presence.
Y’all have a beautiful day!
All My Love,
