This year marks our third year in praying for all those impacted by PTSD. So, as I began this prayer journey, I determined I wanted to concentrate one week on each of the four areas that we want to move our brain and body towards: peace, trust, strength and discipline. Then I visited with my husband, who has PTSD and he said “Just pray.” Then he said “Don’t overthink it.” And, finally he proposed a question: Does suck it up and drive on, work for you?”
If the answer to that question is “yes.” Then please drive on. No need to stop here; however, if it is no or maybe then I encourage you to pull your car into our driveway for the next 30 days and hang out with us. We cannot solve your problems, ease your pain, or end your stress, but we can help you to learn some ways to manage or limit the emotional ups and downs that we can sometimes face when we are triggered.
We can stay with you in prayer and answer questions that you might have to help you continue your drive with more light and love. We hope your journey with us over the next 30 days helps you to find more peace, trust, strength and discipline.
