The rain came down today.
It wasn’t a downpour
Just a mist.
It seemed to
settle into the spirit
Of joy and happiness.
The birds whistled
And the dogs barked
There was a sweet whisper
That directed
“Ella go potty!”
And, the quick shift of four tiny paws
And the dog barked.
The birds tweeted
Of joy and happiness.
The mist disappeared
And the birds sang
Hearts full of joy and happiness.
