Walking with Trust.
When you have PTSD there are moments where you can feel incredibly alone and many times you are afraid to move or go anywhere. During these times you tend to isolate yourself as a way to protect yourself. Many times you are unaware that this behavior is happening and it takes someone in your life to help you to see this.
Today, we pray for those people and families who are unaware that they are exhibiting symptoms of PTSD and are stuck in a cycle of going unnoticed. Lord, we ask you to cover them with your great healing love and mercy. Where they are unable to trust Lord, we ask you to open their hearts to see the tools and resources that You have laid out for them to walk with trust in You and the community around them. In Jesus Name, We Pray. Amen.
Consider taking a moment to sit here with our Lord:
Ask him to show you where in your life you are caught in a cycle of fear and isolation. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Ask Him to show you what tools and resources would be best to help you to be able to walk with trust again. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Being alone and feeling alone are two different things. Some people do a very good job of surrounding themselves with people when in fact they are incredibly lonely. It is okay to be alone. It is okay to even feel lonely at points. You just don’t want to stay in this place. If you find yourself feeling lonely often then please seek help. You might consider going through our 9 week “Get On Fire For Life'' challenge. It is packed with suggestions for finding more peace, joy, and love in your life.
Y’all have a beautiful day!
