“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always” Psalms 105:4.
Blessed by a Catholic school education, parents, and grandparents who prayed without ceasing, I always knew to pray. What I did not understand is that prayer is not a once and done, but a genuine walk with our Lord every single day, all day long.
The more we look for God through the lens of love, the more we find Him in places we had not noticed Him before; in the laughter of a newborn baby or the soul of a teenager. In the sun as it beams down on us or the clouds as they cool the earth. We find God in the moon and stars at night or in the light of the moon shining bright. We may see Him in the eyes of a stranger who shows up in the face of danger.
Bright and brilliant, like a lighthouse God stands strong for us. He is our guiding light. When we turn to Him we are filled with His life- giving water and in turn He gently walks us into a life filled with peace, trust, strength and discipline.
